Swing Check Valve Spring Damper

On applications where flow through the Swing Check valve is not decreased steadily the "Flapper" plate or disc can slam shut against the valve seat. This in turn can cause excessive noise and seat damage.
To prevent this and to prolong life in service, a damper can be fitted to the outside of the valve.
The damper is a fully enclosed unit utilizing a clock type spring. The coiling of the spring   provides two functions to the valve, a controlled closing and assisted opening.

Materials

Being an external,non process wetted part, the damper housing is typically Epoxy stove enamel coated zink.

SRV Changeover Valves

SRV Interlocked Changeover Valves

Utilizing two 3-way multi-port ball valves with a manual interlocked system between two safety relief valves. With one movement of the lever one SRV is put into service and the other is isolated, allowing it to be removed from the pressure line for service or replacement.

Can be manufactured in a full range of materials to suit the application.

SRV inlet and outlet isolation with one movement.

Modular design easily paird to the SRV connections.
Utilizes standard 3-way multiport ball valves, to minimise cost and maximise spares availablity.
Full Bore ball valves minimise both inlet pressure drop and back pressure for the SRV's.

Valve Stem Extensions

Stem extensions are commonly supplied to:
 - extend the lever operator out through valve/pipeline insulation which could interfere with the standard construction.
 -  to extend the operator to a more convenient place for use when the valve is in a difficult to reach location.

Materials

Typically the stem extensions are manufactured from stainless steel, but can be manufactured in a full range of materials to suit the application.

Valve Actuation & Automation.

Whilst the majority of valves are supplied with hand or gearbox operators, many valves are used on automated processes requiring actuation and instrumentation packages to be fitted.
The valves can be supplied "Bare-shaft" for acutation by the customer or fully actuated to customer specifications by ourselves to ensure a correct marriage of the different items and subsequent performance before installation.

Valve Interlock System

Utilizing the Allen Bradley Prosafe interlock system.

Trapped Key Interlocks—Why Use Them?

Based upon the premise that no one key can be in two places at once, key interlock systems can be configured to provide that a predetermined sequence of events takes place or that hazards have been reduced before operators can become exposed to them.

Materials

All stainless steel interlocking and coded parts—including the code barrel and internal components.

Features

It is a mechanical system and is therefore widely used in applications including those where the location of plant, environment or explosive atmospheres make the use of electrical interlock systems unsuitable or expensive to install. In addition, unique coding can be provided, leading to a greater degree of security and tamper-resistance.

Weather cap as standard.
Standard red colour-coded key and ID tags.

Custom colour/text keys and ID tags.
A complete range of isolators, key exchange, miniature valve interlocks and gate interlocks—all using the same key principle.
