Properties 
Hastelloy® is a Nickel-Molybdenum-Chromium alloy that has the addition of tungsten to make it highly resistant to  corrosion in a wide range of hostile environments. It is one of the most versatile alloys available due to its high nickel and molybdenum contents. The alloy is resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion, the chromium creates a  resistance to oxidisation and the low carbon content ensures that carbide precipitation is kept to a minimum.

Applications
Hastelloy® alloys have a very high standard of corrosion resistance to a multitude of environments and can still operate in sub-zero temperatures and these are considered super alloys. These alloys are widely used in the processing of organic and non-organic chemicals, aerospace and oil and gas production.
