The SCV34/35 is a swing check valve, with an internally retained disc shaft and integral cast flanges.
Made in conformance with the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU, this valve has a retaining pin through the disc nut to prevent backing off in service, a simple internal fixing of the disc and an angled disc arm which improves sealing, reduces leak paths and provides ease of maintenance, as well as a sleek body design which reduces the weight of the assembly and improves flow characteristics.
The SCV34/35 can be manufactured with integral (SCV34) or renewable seats (SCV35) and a drain plug, all specific to customer specifications. Manufactured as standard in Nickel Aluminium Bronze (NiAlBr) – ASTM B148/C95800, giving long service life on seawater applications.
